Ich habe das Büchlein sowohl selbst gelesen als auch verschenkt. Dann kann es ja schon mal nicht schlecht sein! In der Tat, wie immer schreibt Jojo Moyes flüssig, leicht und emotional nachvollziehbar. Zudem gefällt mir hier das Konzept, kleine, abgeschlossene Geschichten, die immer andere Lebenssituationen englischer Frauen aus der Jetzt-Zeit spiegeln und so ein Kaleidoskop, eine Bandbreite an Lebensumständen, an erfüllten und unerfüllten Wünschen und dem Umgang damit liefern. Und genau da liegt aber auch das (kleine) Problem: Es werden überwiegend die klassischen Klischees beschrieben. Das kann man ohne zu spoilern verraten: Die Protagonistin einer Kurzgeschichte ringt sich durch, aus ihrer Ehe auszubrechen. Die andere ringt sich dazu durch, trotz Zufallsbegegnung mit der alten großen Liebe nicht auszubrechen. Die dritte ringt um Selbstbewusstsein nach dem Verlassenwerden. Die nächsten ringen oder liebäugeln damit, was ihnen neue Mäntel oder Schuhe für ein Mehr an Selbstbewusstsein geben könnten. Unterhaltsam, aber auch ein wenig wie das Lesen von Horoskopen: die sind nie ganz falsch und doch auch nie ganz richtig.

"Kleine Fluchten" ist ein wirklich tolles Buch mit mehreren Kurzgeschichten. Es umfasst nicht ganz 140 Seiten und ist ein Hardcover. Die Aufmachung des Covers ist schlicht aber sehr stilvoll, wie ich finde. Im Buch gibt es zu jeder Kurzgeschichte schön gestaltete Illustrationen. Die Geschichten selbst sind zwischen 15 und 20 Seiten kurz, aber sehr liebevoll geschrieben. Es sind Geschichten die das Leben schreibt, in die sich also jeder von uns hineinversetzen kann. Für große Leseabende eher ungeeignet, aber für die kleine Entspannung vom Alltag genau richtig. Für die Leseabende gibt es ja die anderen tollen Romane von Jojo :-) Und die Wartezeit bis zum Erscheinen des 3. Teils über Lou kann man hiermit wunderbar überbrücken ;-) Ich kann das Buch sehr empfehlen, habe den Kauf nicht bereut.

Ich habe 4 oder 5 Bücher von Jojo Moyes gelesen und fand sie alle großartig, doch von diesem kleinen Werk bin ich tatsächlich enttäuscht. Die Geschichten sind unglaubwürdig, nicht nachvollziehbar und eher seicht. Hat mich leider nicht berührt.

Schöne, kleine Geschichten für zwischendurch. Trotzdem kann ich natürlich nicht mehr als 3 Sterne geben, schon alleine wegen des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses. Ich hätte es besser gefunden, Jojo Moyes hätte die Ideen in Bücher ausgearbeitet. So süß die Geschichten auch sind, so schnell werde ich sie auch wieder vergessen haben, weil sie einfach viel zu kurz sind.

Jede Kurzgeschichte ist ein Feuerwerk und keine geht so aus, wie ich es erwartet habe, nachdem ich den ersten Satz gelesen hatte. Einfach großartig, unglaublich kurzweilig und macht jede Wartezeit zu einem absoluten Lesevergnügen.

Dieses Buch ist genau das Richtige für eine kleine Auszeit vom Alltag. Die Geschichten sind leicht zu lesen und amüsant. Manchmal etwas alltäglich und sicher keine große Literatur, aber immer mit einer interessanten Wendung und starken, liebenswerten Charakteren.

Das Buch habe ich zufällig gefunden und bin von den Geschichten total begeistert. Ich werde mir auf jeden Fall noch andere Bücher der Autorin lesen.

Ich habe ungefähr alles gelesen/gehört, was Jojo Moyes geschrieben hat und dieses Hörbuch gehört zu meinen Lieblingen. Es sind kleine Kurzgeschichten, die das Herz berühren.

I browsed a few pages but couldn't find anything to make me want to read further. For those who like reading about Steve Jobs, corporate business interests, Silicon Valley etc it will no doubt be ok. For me it's just so full of cliches and corporate drivel I gave up.

I am not finished reading it yet, but it is a very interesting read, with to-the-point examples. I can apply the author's findings and thoughts to my company, and my life. Does make me think, and think outside of the box.

I really loved this book. Everyone who wants to create something in his life but is sometimes struggeling with the "How" should read this book

This is a great and entertaining read on original thinking and how to foster it. The ideas in this book are well presented through interesting real life case studies and experiments.

Ab und zu ist es ja wichtig, mal ein paar andere Perspektiven einzunehmen. Das Buch gibt dazu viele Anregungen und läßt sich gut anwenden.

This book is a complete mythbreaker, no matter to which domain it is applied.
